I've been following the Daniel Leeroy Way case, and one puzzling aspect that stands out is the lack of public appeals or press conferences by his family or the local authorities. Normally, when someone goes missing, there's at least some statement to the media or effort to rally community assistance. In Daniel's case, it seems eerily quiet. Has anyone else noticed this trend in other missing person cases in the area, or is Daniel's case an anomaly? It makes me wonder if there's more going on behind the scenes that the public isn't privy to. Any insight or similar experiences?
