Does anyone have more detailed info about the neighborhood changes around Iris Road/Otter Drive since Vernon Jalo's disappearance? I mean, leaving his house and truck just like that for all these years seems odd. Did local residents notice anything strange happening around that area back then, or has there been any talk among locals recently? For a neighborhood to not have moved on from that abandoned look, I wonder if there’s more to the story or if people have just accepted it as part of local lore. It feels like someone would have seen something or maybe there's more chatter than what's been recorded. It would be interesting to hear from anyone who lived nearby at the time or still does.

Just stumbled upon some info about Vernon's case and I can't stop thinking about that abandoned house where he used to live.
