Hey everyone,
I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the case of Jerry Joseph Crew ever since I read about it. One thing that's really stuck with me is the detail about the medications he needed to survive. As someone who has a family member with a similar condition, I know how crucial it is to have those meds on hand, and it makes me wonder so much about what happened in his final days. Did he have his medication with him when he disappeared, or was it left at Anthony Legens's place? The fact that he went without it just doesn't sit right with me and makes me worried about the level of control Legens might have had over him.
On a separate note, with the shootout and everything else that was found at the house afterward, it seems like there could've been so much chaos and intimidation surrounding this whole situation. I hope that investigators can get to the bottom of how Jerry ended up in the woods.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts, especially if anyone has some insights into how they prioritize leads in cases like this.
Has anyone else noticed the odd timing in the Jerry Crew case regarding the search warrant at Legens’s home? It's quite peculiar that the authorities showed up for something unrelated and ended up discovering so much more. I mean, they were there because of a tip about seeing a body in a container, but how coincidental is it that this led to finding out more about Crew's disappearance? Makes you wonder if someone knew more than they were letting on. It feels like there might be layers to the case that just haven’t come to light yet. Anyone have thoughts on the timing or think there might be more connections that haven't been made public?
