I've been digging into Thomas Ellery Welford's case, and something that sticks out to me is the lack of leads or public info after the initial disappearance. It seems odd how it went cold so fast. Was there ever any search effort in Jackson County? Were there any social media campaigns or local news coverage back then that could’ve brought more attention to his case? Wondering if the lack of resources or media presence is why we don’t see many updates or public appeals. It feels like his case just faded into the background. Anyone have more info or thoughts on why certain cases seem to slip through the cracks more than others?
