Do any locals from the Keaau area remember if there was any major event happening around the time Mark Tourney disappeared in July 1999? Sometimes large gatherings or unusual occurrences can trigger memories. I wonder if he might have been aiming to blend into a crowd or if something big was taking place that allowed him to slip away unnoticed. With so few details available, it's challenging to piece things together, but even small bits of info might help jog someone's memory about seeing him around that time. If you were living in or around Keaau then, do you recall anything out of the ordinary happening?
