I just read about the case update on Matilde Hernandez Gonzalez. The thing that really gets to me is how allegedly Abel and Alejandra Castro reportedly tried to manipulate Gonzalez's child into thinking she had just up and left. Imagine being that kid, hoping your mom is out there somewhere, but then growing up to learn the people who were supposed to be your caretakers might have been involved in all of this from the start. It’s unfathomable. Has anyone heard any updates on whether they're getting closer to locating her remains? It must be so hard for the family not having that closure. Sending thoughts to her loved ones as they continue searching for answers.
