Does anyone else find it curious how diligent Skip was about his hiking routines? I mean, this man was out on those trails every day, no matter the weather. What if someone familiar with his habits took advantage of this? Considering his recent diagnosis, he could have been in a fragile state of mind. I've seen cases where people were targeted because their routines were predictable. Has there been any mention of surveillance footage or reports of unusual activity around the time he went missing? It's just frustrating how someone so ingrained in the community can just vanish without a trace. I hope they haven't given up on exploring every angle because there's got to be more to this. Any local insights or theories?
I recently came across the case of Skip Conrad, who went missing on August 21, 2006, in Silverton, Colorado. Something that stands out to me is how involved he was in environmental causes. It makes me wonder if anyone ever looked into whether he might have had any concerns or disagreements with others in the field of conservation that could have played a role in his disappearance.
Considering his strong commitment and the fact that he frequently spoke publicly about environmental protection, it's possible he ruffled some feathers. Of course, this might just be a stretch, but given how mysterious his disappearance is, every angle should be considered, right? I'd love to hear thoughts or insights from someone more familiar with the local dynamics in Silverton or the environmental community Conrad was part of.
