Did anyone else find it strange that Leslie Barlow Sr. wasn’t reported missing until over three years after he vanished? I came across the case recently and can’t wrap my head around it. For someone to go unreported for so long, it makes you wonder about his relationships or circumstances at the time. Was there a reason his absence went unnoticed, or was it something more complicated within his personal life? I know sometimes families assume the person just wants to step away for a while, especially adults, but three years is a long time. Could there have been misunderstandings or was there some other delay in communication? It’d be interesting to hear more on the dynamics that might have led to such a late report. Thoughts?

I'm curious about the delay in reporting Leslie Barlow Sr. as missing. Why did it take over three years before anything was officially filed? Was there a reason his absence wasn’t immediately addressed, or was it simply assumed he might return or was in Phoenix all along? It's challenging in cases like this when there's such a long gap, and evidence and memories can become so faded. Anyone else have thoughts or insights on why these delays happen and what can be done to prevent them in similar cases?
