Hey folks, I've been revisiting the Investor case, and something has been gnawing at me: the decision to torch the boat. Considering the location and the risk involved, what are the chances this was the work of someone from outside the community? Setting a boat ablaze isn't exactly subtle, especially in a small town like Craig. It seems like a risky move that would attract a lot of attention.
Could it point to someone who wasn't worried about being recognized or caught because they weren't from around there? Or maybe someone felt they had enough familiarity with the area to pull it off without raising suspicion? I'm curious how the locals who were around at the time felt about this idea. My heart truly goes out to the friends and family of the Coulthursts and the crew. It's chilling to think that, decades later, there's still no justice. It must be incredibly painful not to have answers after all these years.
I've been diving deep into the tragic events surrounding the Coulthurst family and their crew on the Investor. While there are many theories about motives, I find it perplexing that no substantial leads have emerged after all these years. One aspect that stands out to me is the involvement of John Peel and how the trials played out. It must have been incredibly distressing for the Coulthursts’ family and the community to endure those court proceedings and then have no resolution. Even after the trials, it seems like there are so many missing pieces to this puzzle. What's more, the notion that the killer could be someone the victims knew or trusted is just chilling. Sending thoughts to the families still seeking answers; wish the case could be solved to provide them with some peace. Has anyone come across any credible new information or perspectives about what occurred that night?
