I was just looking through some info about Hazel Meyer's case, and something stood out to me. Has anyone else considered how isolated Valdez, Alaska, is? With the town surrounded by mountains and water, it seems like it would be really difficult for anyone to leave or hide without being noticed. I wonder if this means that Hazel is still somewhere close by, possibly in the surrounding wilderness. I feel like this is a detail that could help narrow down the search efforts. Does anyone familiar with the area know if there have been any organized searches or specific areas where they've been focused? Also, wouldn't the weather at that time of the year make it challenging to survive outside for long? Any insights or local knowledge would be helpful.

I’ve been following Hazel Meyer's case and something has been really puzzling me. Does anyone know if Hazel had any social media presence? It seems odd that a 16-year-old would leave without any clues or messages online. Any chance she might’ve posted something unusual before going missing? With how connected teens are today, it might be worth checking. If anyone finds anything or if local tech folks can dig around a bit, it might help the investigation. Any insight is appreciated.
