Has anyone looked into the weather conditions around the time Eric Duane Pace went missing? Sometimes, severe weather can impact the visibility or make the area harder to search. If he was a known transient, he might have been moving around a lot, possibly following warmer climates or trying to avoid severe weather. It could be worth checking historical weather data for Lake County or any surrounding areas during that time. Just thinking out loud here—weather might not be a big factor in every case, but it's one of those angles that sometimes get overlooked.
