I've been thinking about the friends and family of Joyce Neill lately. It must be incredibly difficult for them to have gone so many decades without closure. What strikes me is her move from Arizona to Denver at such a young age. Starting a new chapter in a big city is challenging enough, but considering she was doing so at 17 while working as a nurse's aide shows a strong sense of independence and determination. It's a reminder of the life and dreams she had ahead of her, which makes the lack of justice and answers in her case all the more difficult to accept.
I wonder if her connections with the local motorcycle gangs, like the Husky Hustlers, could ever potentially lead to more info about what happened. It can’t be easy for her loved ones knowing there’s still untapped avenues that might provide some clarity. I hope as time goes on, someone with knowledge about that aspect of her life will come forward. Her case deserves resolution, and her family deserves peace. If anyone has any thoughts on how we as a community can help keep her story alive, please share. Let’s not let Joyce be forgotten.
