I was reading up on the McCrory case again and found a detail I hadn’t noticed before. It’s curious that the search dogs lost his scent in that heavily wooded area off Sweet Home Church Road. Could it be that he was picked up by someone, or maybe there's a hidden trail or pathway in the woods that wasn't fully explored? It seems strange for a blood trail to just stop like that. I've always wondered if there were any unsolved cases in the area around that time that could be connected. Would be interesting to hear thoughts from anyone who knows the local area well or has family there.
