I was reflecting on the tragic loss of Walter and Kimmo Perry, and something that baffles me is the complete lack of motive for such a heinous act. It's distressing that almost 45 years later, there's no clear reason behind why someone would intentionally set that fire. Walter seemed like a regular guy, and from what I've read, he was well-liked around Loveland. To think about little Kimmo, who never got a chance to grow up and experience life, is beyond upsetting. I can't even begin to imagine what Joyce has been through all these years—losing a husband and a child in such a horrific way is something no one should endure. With so many years passed, I wonder if some crucial detail has simply been overlooked or if someone out there knows something but has kept it to themselves, whether out of fear or for another reason. It's so important for anyone with even the slightest bit of information to come forward. This case remains a painful wound for the community, and there's still hope that justice could be served. Keeping these conversations going is so important, both for getting answers and honoring Walter and Kimmo’s memories.
