It's truly sad to think about John Robert Miller's last moments and the mystery that still surrounds his tragic death 20 years later. One thing that's been on my mind is the nature of the area where the hit-and-run happened. Does anyone know if there were any cameras or businesses with CCTV along that stretch of Highway 287? I know technology wasn't as advanced back then, and maybe it wasn't common to have surveillance in remote areas, but sometimes even the smallest detail from local spots could lead to a break in cases like this. It's a long shot, but if there's any chance that someone recalls seeing anything unusual that night or has any connections to get more surveillance footage from that time, it might help bring some closure to John's family. I hope the community can keep supporting each other and not lose hope that justice can still be served.
Was anyone else really disturbed by how quickly things turned for John Robert Miller that night? Just thinking about how he was walking along U.S. Highway 287, having just interacted with a Larimer County Sheriff's deputy, and then just an hour later, he was a victim to this terrible crime is unsettling. It makes me wonder if there was something that could have been picked up during the conversation with the deputy that might have hinted at what was going to happen, or perhaps there was someone nearby lurking. It's chilling how rapidly life can change, and my heart truly goes out to his family and friends who must still be searching for answers after all these years. If anyone has information, even if it seems insignificant, please consider reaching out to the Loveland Police Department. This family deserves closure.

I understand the investigation has hit a wall, but I keep wondering—was there something significant in that conversation with the deputy?
Why was John walking on the highway so late at night? It's heart-wrenching to think that he might have been in trouble or trying to get somewhere in a hurry. I feel deeply for his family and friends who have been waiting for answers for so long. It's been too many years without closure.
