Was anyone else struck by the timing of everything that happened around Luann's disappearance? I've been going over the details, and it seems odd to me how the weather, which was rainy and chilly, may have affected the visibility or the number of people out and about at that time. That 911 call she made – or tried to make – is really haunting. I keep wondering what she was experiencing in that moment. Was she scared? Did she see someone she thought was following her? It pains me that the call dropped, leaving so many questions unanswered. It also makes me think about whether there might’ve been clues along her route that got washed away or overlooked because of the rain.
My heart goes out to her kids and family – not knowing must be unbearable. They deserve closure, and I hope investigators are still actively piecing everything together using technology that might not have been available back then.
