Has anyone else been following the situation with Eli Michel and Nafiun Awal? I can't stop thinking about their gear being found along that massive fall line on Moose's Tooth. It's gut-wrenching to try and imagine what might have happened up there. I've been reading about similar avalanche incidents and how sudden they can be, especially with the weather conditions they're facing. The temperatures dropping as low as 5 degrees at night is just unimaginable. I really wish there was more that could be done. If anyone has experience with climbing in Denali, how do you mentally prepare for such unpredictable conditions?
