I'm really curious about the impact weather conditions might have had on the search efforts for Eli and Nafiun. I’ve been reading about how unpredictable the weather can be around Moose's Tooth, and it seems like those low temperatures, combined with the avalanche risk, could make it extremely difficult for search teams. Those nighttime temps of 5 to 20 degrees sound brutal. I wonder if the cold and potential snow accumulation are affecting their ability to safely conduct ground searches. Also, does anyone know if the weather is prone to quick changes in that part of the park? It must be incredibly challenging to plan and execute search operations in such an environment. How are search teams typically trained to handle these conditions?
