I recently came across Levon Alford's case, and it just breaks my spirit thinking about his family still waiting for justice after all these years. It's so troubling to see another young life lost to gun violence, and even more so when the case goes cold. The fact that this happened in a city with so many other unsolved cases makes me wonder about the level of resources being allocated to solve these tragedies. Does anyone know if Richmond PD has made any recent announcements or if there have been any private efforts to push forward with Levon's case? Sometimes, other unsolved cases get a breakthrough years later because someone decided to speak up, and I'm holding onto hope that this might happen here. If anyone has heard anything or knows of community efforts, let's discuss ways to help keep the pressure on for justice for Levon and support for his family.
