Wow, this is such a difficult situation. I can't stop thinking about the weather conditions on the night the Wind Walker capsized. The forecast was pretty rough, with gale warnings and freezing sprays. Does anyone know if it’s common for fishing boats to head out in such challenging weather? I'm wondering if the risk was weighed against the urgency of a "final run" for the season. It seems so risky. It’s unsettling to think about what those last moments might have been like for the crew. Also, I read that seven cold-water immersion suits were found, but there were only five crew members. Why would there be two extra? Could it have been standard practice, or maybe just a precautionary measure? My heart goes out to everyone affected by this. Hoping the investigation sheds more light soon.
