I've been following the case of Makenzie Drew Taylor from Middleburg, FL, and I came across something interesting. It appears that Makenzie had recently moved back in with her parents just weeks before her disappearance. I wonder if this change in her living situation could have had any impact on her state of mind or if it might be relevant to her case. Did she seem stressed or uneasy about anything? It's these little details that sometimes help piece together the bigger picture. Hoping the community comes together and pulls through with crucial information. If anyone remembers seeing anything unusual around that time or has any insight into her daily routine, it might be worth reaching out to the authorities or NamUs. Every little bit helps!

I’ve been thinking about the water sources around Middleburg—rivers, lakes, and ponds—as potential places to focus a search. I remember when similar cases here saw significant breakthroughs after searches near local bodies of water. Given Middleburg’s landscape, it seems logical to at least rule these areas out. Does anyone know if there’s been an organized search or anything involving dive teams? Any efforts from local search and rescue volunteers focused in these areas yet? Every time I drive by Black Creek, I can't help but wonder. Praying for answers soon for Makenzie. Stay safe, everyone.
