Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of James Lewis from Memphis for a while now, and something struck me recently while going through some old local news articles. Did anyone else notice that around 2011, there seemed to be a significant lack of resources dedicated to handling the sheer volume of homicides in Memphis? It's incredibly frustrating to think that this could have hindered the investigation into James's murder. I can't imagine the pain his family must be going through, knowing that a lack of resources might have played a role in the stagnation of his case.
With the Cold Case Unit now involved, I truly hope that the advancements in forensic technology since 2011 can provide the breakthrough needed. Communities should keep pushing for more resources so that cases like James’s don’t fall through the cracks. It's important for us to support the families and acknowledge their ongoing fight for justice. Stay strong, and let’s hope for answers soon. ?
If anyone has insight into how the resource allocation was during that time or has seen improvements since, please share. Every bit of awareness helps.
Stay safe,
