Anyone else find it strange that Richard's car had both his and Cassandra's personal items left behind, but their wallets were missing? It makes me wonder if whoever was involved took them specifically to avoid identification or if there was something in those wallets they wanted. There was this big focus on the possibility of a serial killer, but I wonder if this small detail could point to something more personal. Someone targeting them specifically, or maybe some kind of robbery-gone-wrong scenario? Also, has anyone looked into whether they had any recent conflicts or drama that might have spurred someone to do something drastic? I find it hard to believe it’s just a coincidence. Curious to hear everyone’s theories on this!

Hey everyone, I've been going down the rabbit hole with the Colonial Parkway disappearances again, and something about Richard and Cassandra's case keeps bugging me. Richard's Toyota Celica was left at the York River Overlook, which seems like an odd place to just leave a car if you were just stopping to check out the view or anything. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but does anyone think the specific location has more significance? Could the abductor or whoever left the car there have chosen that spot for a reason beyond just wanting it hidden in plain sight? I'm wondering if there's some hidden connection to that area that hasn't been brought up enough. I'd love to hear what you all think about the location and if any of you locals have insights on why York River Overlook might be notably significant or just random. I've got a feeling there are layers here that we're not seeing yet.
