Hey everyone,
I've been following the discussion on Meyer’s case, and something's been nagging at me that I wanted to bring up. Has anyone dug into the red Dodge Monaco he was driving? I find it really odd that neither Meyer nor the car has been found after all these years. It's a distinct vehicle, being a '78 model and all, and you'd think someone would have spotted it by now, either abandoned or in some obscure scrapyard. I read somewhere that vehicles tend to outlast people in missing person cases, but it's like this one vanished into thin air.
I'm just wondering if maybe checking old news reports or registering it hits across different states might shed some light. I mean, what if it ended up in a place where no one was looking, or maybe got scrapped quietly? Anyone else have thoughts on what might've happened to the car? Feel free to jump in with any info or theories you might have; every bit helps in keeping the discussion going.
Thanks!
I'm really puzzled by the lack of leads in Meyer's case. I find it odd that even his car, a red 1978 Dodge Monaco, was never recovered. That's a pretty distinct vehicle, not something you'd easily overlook, right? Especially with an expired Florida plate. Did anyone ever look into sightings or reports of abandoned vehicles from back then? I mean, you'd think a big, red car would catch someone's eye along those mountain roads. It's like both he and the car vanished without a trace. Wondering if there's any chance someone might come across evidence of it now, even after all these years.
Also, I think it's worth discussing whether the expired license plate might have drawn the attention of any local law enforcement at the time. If anyone has info or theories on how this might have played into his disappearance, please share. It's such a baffling part of the whole situation and could potentially hold some answers.
