I've been following the case of Aliaksei Yurtaikin, and it's so sad that more than a decade later, there’s still no justice for him or his family. What’s particularly troubling is how his murder fits into this larger pattern of unsolved cases from that time in Philadelphia. It’s like these victims become part of a statistic rather than getting the individual attention they deserve. It makes me think about those years when the city was grappling with violence on a massive scale, and how important it is to learn from the past to really address these issues. How do we honor Aliaksei and others like him? What can we do now to push for answers and change? Sending love and strength to everyone affected by these unresolved cases.
