Does anyone remember the sightings reported in the nearby regions shortly after Larry Trent disappeared? I recall reading about a few possible sightings in and around Knoxville, but there wasn't much follow-up. It's puzzling, and I wonder if local law enforcement had any solid leads from those reports or if they were just dead ends. If there was any mention of him traveling through those areas, it might shed light on his movements after February 28, 1997. Anybody familiar with those details or have thoughts on why that trail went cold? It seems like a clue worth re-examining, especially with so many years gone by without answers.
I recently stumbled across Larry Trent's case and wanted to share a theory that's been floating around locally, though I can't verify its accuracy. Some folks from the area claim that Larry had mentioned feeling uneasy in the days leading up to his disappearance. Apparently, he had been seen around town acting more reserved than usual, almost as if he was looking over his shoulder a lot.
Could it be possible that Larry was worried about something or someone? It’s been so many years, but I wonder if anyone else remembers these rumors, or if anyone might have any insights into what could have been bothering him back then. Any residents from Mooresburg or nearby have more context? It's just so puzzling that a person can just vanish without leaving any trace. Here's hoping someone comes forward with a vital piece of the puzzle.
