Does anyone have any more information on community response events following Mr. Kim’s tragic death? I remember reading that there was increased community activism around this time, especially in areas like Cecil B. Moore Avenue where the violence was all too common. It’s incredibly moving to see neighbors and local groups coming together to support each other and demand change, but I can't seem to find more specifics on what actions were taken back in 2008. Given everything the community was facing, it feels like those rallies and peaceful protests were such an important way for residents to express their frustration and concern over the violence. I hope they were able to provide at least some comfort to Mr. Kim's family and others affected by similar tragedies. Would love to hear if anyone has stories or insights about the community efforts back then. It’s vital we remember and support those impacted by such senseless violence.
