Hi everyone, I've lived in Philly my whole life, and this Charles Purnell case has always stuck with me. It's so devastating when a young person with his whole future ahead of him is taken away so violently. I was wondering, has there been any talk about whether there were any witnesses in the area that night? Lancaster Street isn't exactly deserted, and it just seems like someone must have seen or heard something. It's incredibly distressing to think that there could be vital information out there that hasn't come to light yet. My thoughts are with Charles's family and friends — I can't imagine their ongoing pain and frustration. Hoping that renewed attention to this case can finally bring them some answers and justice for Charles. Anyone else here from the neighborhood remember anything from back then? Hoping for some progress on this soon.
