Is anyone else familiar with the uptick in gun-related homicides in Philly back in 2009? I recently read about Donnie Harris’s murder in Nicetown-Tioga, and it really resonated with me. Another tragic loss that adds to the long list of unsolved cases in the city. It’s unsettling to think about his family still living without closure or answers. I hope somehow, with advancements in technology or maybe a new tip, the police can finally crack this case. These families deserve to know what happened to their loved ones. The violence back then was like an epidemic, and it still feels like not enough is being done to resolve these cold cases. Anyone have thoughts on how the city is handling cases like this one today? It's frustrating to see so many of them languish without resolution.
