Did anyone else find it puzzling that Dennis's dog found its way back home without him? I mean, dogs are incredibly loyal and usually stick close to their owners. If his dog made it back to the house safe and sound, could it be possible that Dennis intended to return as well but was prevented from doing so for some reason? Maybe something happened suddenly, or he got disoriented due to his medical issues?
Also, I'm curious about where the dog was found. Was it just roaming or was it acting anxious near any particular spot? I wonder if retracing the dog’s steps could yield any new clues, even after all these years. It just doesn’t sit right with me that the dog would come home alone without something significant happening along the way. Thoughts?
Hey everyone, I've been following the Dennis Robert Towle case for a while now, and something just doesn't sit right with me about the day he went missing. I keep coming back to the fact that Dennis was spotted walking his dog around noon, but no one seems to have come forward saying they saw him after or if something happened during that walk. It’s a small community, and people usually notice even the smallest details.
Besides, his dog returned home on its own—did anyone in the area notice a dog wandering alone or seem distressed that day? Is it possible it might have crossed paths with someone who could've helped it back? The dog might be a small clue that’s missing from this puzzle. If anyone's local to Woodsville or knows the area, any insights would be really appreciated. It just feels like neighbors, even those who aren’t particularly close or who might not have seen much out of the ordinary, might have been key observers in that window of time. Keep talking and sharing—someone could hold the key to finally getting answers for Dennis’s family.
I’ve been following Dennis Robert Towle’s case for a while now, and the one thing that always puzzles me is the behavior of his dog. It’s so strange that the dog went back home alone. Dogs are usually so loyal and don’t stray far from their owner. Could this mean something happened to Dennis where the dog couldn’t reach or stay with him? Maybe the dog witnessed something? I wonder if animal behavior experts were ever consulted. It might seem far-fetched, but sometimes animals can lead us to clues that humans overlook. Anyone else have thoughts on this angle?
