Does anyone else find Michael's confession and the subsequent plea deal puzzling? I've been following Michelle "Angie" Yarnell's case for a while, and I can't wrap my head around a few things. Michael confessed in 2008, claiming it was an accident, but without a body or concrete evidence, it's hard to understand why things went down the way they did. How do we know what really happened that day? The whole postcard situation seems super fishy too. Did anyone ever verify if Michael truly wrote it, or did the investigation just move too quickly with his confession? I can't help but feel there's so much more to this story that still needs unraveling, especially considering Michelle's body has never been found. Thoughts?

I was reading up on Michelle Yarnell's case again, and something that's always puzzled me is the timing and nature of that suspicious postcard her mom received. It just doesn't sit right with me. Why would someone go through the trouble of sending a postcard that supposedly claimed Michelle was heading to Texas? If it was Michael trying to cover his tracks, why Texas of all places? It's over 500 miles from Missouri. Was there a connection we're missing? Or was he just trying to throw everyone off completely? I feel like if we could understand the reasoning behind that postcard, it might reveal more about what happened in those crucial weeks after she was last seen. Anyone else have thoughts on why he chose to fabricate that story or the significance of choosing Texas?

Has anyone else dug into the whole postcard situation? I find it super sketchy that Michelle's family got that postcard supposedly from her, claiming she was heading to Texas. The handwriting didn't even match Michelle's, and it feels like such a blatant attempt to throw everyone off track. Who would actually believe she'd send just one postcard if she were going on a trip like that, especially out of nowhere? I wonder who else might have been involved in trying to cover up her disappearance or if Michael acted alone. It's definitely one of the stranger elements of her case that always sticks with me. Anyone have more details or thoughts on this?
