Does anyone else remember how the community really came together for Anthony Griffin's candlelight vigil? It was such a powerful moment—seeing the Hazelwood neighborhood pour their hearts into supporting his family and demanding justice. It’s a stark reminder of how important community solidarity is in moments like these. I still can't believe that no arrests have been made after all this time. It feels like Anthony has been forgotten by the system, but clearly not by those who knew and loved him. While the reports about gun violence in Pittsburgh at that time make for grim reading, it’s the personal stories like Anthony's that stay with you. How can we rally the community again to keep his memory alive and pressure authorities to continue their investigation? The people who know what happened that night on Monongahela Street need to come forward. His family deserves answers and so much more. ?
