Hi everyone, I've been following Deven Wheeler's case closely, and I wanted to bring up something that hasn't been discussed much – the impact of the billboard campaign by his family and the Pact Initiative. From what I've read, they put up a billboard in Hazelwood on Second Avenue to keep Deven's case in the public eye. I think it’s a powerful way to remind the community that this case is still unresolved and to encourage anyone with information to come forward. It must be incredibly draining for Deven's family to keep pushing for answers while continuing to live with the pain of his loss. The reward they’ve offered is a testament to their determination to find justice. Hopefully, the visibility from efforts like these will eventually lead to a breakthrough. Does anyone here know how often these kinds of initiatives lead to actual arrests or breakthroughs in cold cases? I'm really hoping for some positive news soon for the Wheeler family. Sending strength and support to his loved ones and the Hazelwood community. Deven deserves justice. Stay safe, everyone!

It's really distressing to hear about Deven Wheeler's case, especially given how many years have passed without justice. What caught my attention recently was the possibility of a witness feeling too intimidated to come forward. I live a few neighborhoods over and remember how tense things were in Pittsburgh back then. The notion that someone might have seen something but is staying silent out of fear is troubling. If anyone here is familiar with the area around West Elizabeth Street, are there places where a passerby might have noticed something without being directly involved? Any small detail might seem insignificant, but you never know what can break a case wide open. If we can discuss this new possible perspective, maybe we can help shed some light and assist Deven's family in finding the answers they desperately need.
