Has anyone else heard from folks living in Sterling Township about any new developments in the Rino Long case? I'm curious about the involvement of search dogs in this situation. With Rino's severe dementia, I wonder if he's wandered much farther than originally thought, maybe even past his intended path to his son's house. GPS technology in tracking dogs could be really crucial here, but I haven’t seen updates regarding this angle. Does anyone know if the State Police have brought in dogs from specialized K-9 units or if they're planning to expand the search parameters? It's been a month, and it seems like time’s of the essence, especially with the weather getting colder. Keeping Rino's family in my thoughts.
Has anyone else looked into the layout of the area where Rino Long went missing? I've been poking around some maps and noticed that the wooded area between Cherrywood Drive and his son’s house is pretty dense, but not that large. It's puzzling how someone could disappear in such a relatively small space.
Are there any natural hazards or landmarks in that area that might have disoriented him further? I know dementia can cause significant confusion, but it’s so odd that Rino couldn’t have found his way back or been spotted by now. Were there any other routes he might have tried to take that haven’t been thoroughly checked?
Has anyone local to Sterling or familiar with those woods noticed anything unusual since the search began? I hope the community keeps searching and shares any small clues they might find. Every piece of info helps!
