It's deeply troubling to think about Erwin Best's case still being unsolved after all these years. My heart goes out to his family, who must be living through an unimaginable ordeal. I was reading about the support provided by the CARES Peer Crisis Responders and found it reassuring that there are efforts to offer some comfort during such dark times. It’s so important that families have access to these resources to help them cope and, hopefully, find some solace. I really feel that community engagement is crucial here. Someone out there knows something that could be pivotal in bringing Erwin's killer to justice. It’s frustrating to consider how often people might sit on information that could solve a case, perhaps out of fear or indifference. If we can foster a sense of responsibility and encouragement within our communities, maybe more individuals will feel compelled to speak up. Keeping Erwin’s memory alive and sharing updates or even little reminders about his case might prompt someone to finally come forward with a vital clue. It’s a collective effort, and I hope people keep lending their voices to push for answers.

Has anyone else been following the case of Erwin Best's murder in Philly? I've been thinking a lot about the role community members have in unsolved cases like this. It feels like law enforcement can only do so much without support from the people who might have seen or heard something. I can't imagine the pain Erwin's family must be going through, not having answers after all these years. It's great to see programs like CARES stepping in to offer support, but there's still so much that needs to be done. If anyone knows anything, even the smallest detail, it could make a real difference. We owe it to Erwin and his family to help piece this puzzle together.

I’ve been following Erwin Best's case, and one aspect that really stands out to me is the role the community could play in solving this. It’s deeply concerning how this case, like many others, remains unsolved despite it happening in a neighborhood where crime was rampant. I can’t imagine how painful it must be for Erwin’s family not to have closure after all these years. I've read that the Philadelphia DA's Office has stressed the importance of community involvement in solving cases like these. Given the number of people in this area who might have witnessed or heard something, it’s frustrating to think that crucial pieces of information might be out there, untapped. It makes me wonder how effective current outreach efforts really are and if there’s more that could be done to encourage people to come forward. Are there any locals here who might have insight on how the community response has been to such initiatives? Or even ideas on how it could be improved? I truly hope for justice for Erwin and strength for his family as they continue to seek answers.
