Did anyone else catch that detail about the timing of Diana Braungardt’s disappearance? It really stood out to me. She finished her shift and was heading home to study, which makes this all the more puzzling. Her car left abandoned, and there just doesn't seem to be any signs of struggle in that parking lot. What was it that made her stop to talk? Did she know the guy, or was it a chance encounter? The description of that man is so vague, and it's haunting to think he might have just slipped through the cracks. The fact that no more clues have come to light since then is just... frustrating. Anyone have any theories on why there was such a lack of evidence around her car? Wondering if they managed to get any fingerprints or if there was absolutely nothing to go on.
Has anyone else been looking into what vehicle might've been used by the guy seen talking to Diana in the parking lot? ? With the car left behind, it makes me think she could've gotten into another car willingly or unwillingly. I've read in past cases that witnesses sometimes recall seeing a suspicious car but don't always remember details right away. ? Maybe someone saw an unfamiliar car that night but didn't realize its significance at the time? I'm crossing my fingers that someone with a good memory might come forward after all these years. Was the parking lot area well-lit back in '87? Lack of lighting could make scents hard to notice unless you were actively paying attention ?.
