I can't stop thinking about the bravery shown by Chardai Warner the night Ernest was taken from us. She heard those shots and ran towards the danger to help him, even staying with him in those crucial moments. It takes real courage and empathy. Her actions allowed Ernest to give his details and share vital information, which I'm sure meant the world to his family, knowing someone cared enough to be there. It breaks my heart that they haven't found who did this to such a promising young man. Chardai's bravery and quick response should not go unnoticed or unappreciated. In a neighborhood where violence is a constant threat, people like her make a difference. I really hope others with information are inspired by her bravery to come forward and help bring justice for Ernest and his family.
