I was reading about Hermine Lohninger's case and started wondering about the nearby wooded areas where she was known to walk. Given her Alzheimer's, it's possible she simply lost her way, but it’s odd that in all these years, absolutely no trace has been found. Does anyone know if those areas have been developed or changed significantly since 1987? I'm curious if any construction work or land modifications might have accidentally uncovered or even concealed potential evidence over the years. Maybe someone local could shed some light on how that landscape has evolved?
