It's been so many years, but I can't stop thinking about Evelyn Henriquez's case. What stands out to me is the fact that she left behind two young kids without taking any of her belongings. It's difficult to imagine a mother doing that without a very compelling reason, which makes me suspect something happened that she didn’t plan. I wonder what role, if any, her partner's job as an NYPD officer played in the investigation. Did it help or hinder getting to the truth? I can't help but feel there are more layers to this case that haven't been fully explored. Does anyone know if there's been any new interest or theories in recent years? Her kids must be grown by now; it's tragic they had to grow up without answers.
