It's so chilling to think that Kristin's case remained unsolved for so long despite so many red flags. I can't stop thinking about the fact that campus police initially brushed it off as her taking an unannounced trip. Imagine if they had taken it more seriously from the start—maybe things could have been different. It's unsettling to realize how crucial those first few days are in a missing person case. It really makes me wonder how often potential evidence or leads are lost due to those early assumptions. Kristin deserved better, and I'm just hoping that with the conviction, her family can feel like justice is closer within reach, even if the mystery of where she is continues to be unresolved.
