Hey, everyone. I've been following Caron Harper's case and can't stop thinking about how big an impact unsolved cases like his have on the families left behind. It's so tough to imagine the kind of day-to-day pain his family must go through, not knowing why it happened or who is responsible. It must be so hard for them to find some sort of peace without answers. I was thinking about how crucial community involvement is in situations like these. Sometimes it only takes one person coming forward with a small piece of information to help crack a case wide open. It seems like there were a lot of people in the area at the time when it happened, so someone must have seen or heard something. I hope that if anyone knows anything, they'll reach out to the police. Caron lived on Everett Street, not too far from where it happened. It makes you wonder if the gun violence issue is really about people coming together to look out for their own neighborhoods. Philly had it rough in 2016, and I just hope more people see these stories and feel compelled to push for change so fewer families have to go through this agony.
