Has anyone looked into any activity around the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal on the night Alison Thresher disappeared? Given that her car was found abandoned nearby, it seems like a critical angle that might shed some light on the events of that night. It's bizarre that her keys and wallet were missing, yet the car was just left there. I'm wondering if the area was actively patrolled or if any potential witnesses might not have come forward due to fear or uncertainty about what they saw. It's such a busy area, especially in the warmer months, that someone must have noticed something out of the ordinary. Even after all these years, I think revisiting local tips and re-interviewing people who were around that vicinity could potentially lead to new insights or even motivate someone who’s been silent to finally speak up. Any thoughts or ideas on other avenues that might be investigated?
