Wow, the details of Witt's disappearance keep getting more puzzling. I was just reading that his vehicle was recovered months after he vanished, and the situation inside is beyond chilling. The car was found in the Denver area, with bone and tooth fragments and bloodstains matching Witt’s blood type. Not to mention the shotgun shell fragments—it seems like there was some kind of violent encounter.
What’s really concerning is how this seems to point towards foul play, given it was found so far from his last known location in Englewood. It's been such a long time since 1978, and you’d hope more evidence would have shown up by now. Does anyone know if they ever identified those bone/tooth fragments as specifically his? I’m curious if anyone heard about advancements in DNA testing in this case since it happened so long ago. It’s frustrating not knowing who else might have been involved or what really happened to him.
