Does anyone here have more insights into the mysterious phone call Kim Sue Leggett’s parents received? I find it odd that the call came so soon after she was last seen. The timing makes me wonder if this was an opportunistic crime, or if there was some sort of premeditated plan involving more than just those two men. Since the call came directly to her parents, it suggests the caller had intimate knowledge of her and her family's dynamics. Has anyone looked into whether the phone number or the line it came from was ever traced? For a demand as significant as $250,000, you'd assume there would be more effort put into tracing these communications, or at least more info about the technology used back then. Seems like there are a lot of layers to peel back here that could help us understand more about what happened that day.

Has anyone else been curious about the mysterious figures in Kim Leggett's case? I've been looking into this and can't help but focus on the two men seen with her just before she vanished. It's so puzzling that we still don't know who they were after all these years. Were they somehow involved in what happened to her, or could they have been innocent bystanders? With so much time having passed and no clear suspects identified, their identities remain a frustratingly blank spot in this case. Does anyone have any thoughts or insights on who these men might have been or why their presence outside the cotton gin hasn't led to any concrete leads? It's such an enigma.

I can’t stop thinking about the ransom note connected to Kim Leggett. From what's been shared, the handwriting on the envelope was different from the note itself, which seemed to resemble Kim’s. It's puzzling. Could it be that whoever was behind this was trying to make it look like a personal plea from Kim herself? But if that’s the case, why use different handwriting on the envelope? It feels like a deliberate move to confuse or mislead people involved in the investigation. This inconsistency just adds another layer to the mystery. Anyone know if the handwriting was ever conclusively analyzed or compared to known samples? It seems like such a crucial piece of this puzzle could hold the key if only more could be done to analyze these aspects further. Thoughts?
