Does anyone else find it strange how different Laura and John’s stories were about what happened to Robert? It’s like both of them were trying to cover something up, but they couldn’t even get on the same page about what that was. Laura says one thing, Hinton says another — it’s beyond suspicious. You’d think if Robert’s death was from something like an illness, the story would be consistent. The fact that they returned to Colorado without any of the kids and with drastically different stories just doesn’t sit right with me. Has anyone looked into their backgrounds or if there are any documented cases like this with them involved before? It could shed some light on their character and possibly what really happened to Robert.
