Has anyone looked into the possibility of there being other possible victims connected to King and Zwarst? Given their track record, I wouldn’t be surprised if there are other unsolved cases that might fit their MO. With Shelley Sikes' case still open, diving deeper into these two men's history could unearth new leads. It’s baffling that even after their convictions, there’s this massive void where evidence should be. Could they have been involved in other abductions around Texas around that time? Maybe connecting the dots here could eventually help bring Shelley home and provide some answers to her family. What's everyone's thoughts on this angle?
Have any of you ever looked into the hypnosis aspect of Shelley Sikes' case? I find it fascinating that Zwarst drew a map while under hypnosis, supposedly leading to where they buried her. I can't help but wonder about the validity of information gathered this way. While hypnosis has been used in various criminal cases, its reliability remains controversial. Do you think there's a chance they might find something more if they revisit those leads, or has too much time passed? I keep hoping Shelley's family gets the closure they deserve, but the whole hypnosis angle makes me question how it could have been used differently or more effectively in pursuit of finding her.
Has anyone else heard about the hypnosis session with Gerald Zwarst? I find it so intriguing and a bit eerie. Apparently, Zwarst drew a map while under hypnosis trying to pinpoint Shelley Sikes' burial site, but nothing came of it. I'm curious how reliable such information could be, especially in criminal investigations. Seems like it's one of those things that sound promising but might just lead to more frustration. Have there been other cases where hypnosis led to key evidence? I wonder if the investigators still consider those details credible or if they're just in the same basket as the other dead ends. Thoughts?
