I’ve been digging into Elizabeth "Libby" Crawford's case and can't stop wondering about the potential significance of the kitchen utensils found in her car. It feels so out of place. Why would someone bring utensils with them if they were just planning a quick stop to a friend's house? Could this suggest she might have been planning to cook for someone or had recently met someone new who she might have wanted to impress?
Also, the fact that the seat was pushed back suggests whoever drove her car last was much taller than her. Did she know whoever this was, and if so, why did she keep it a secret from her family? It's peculiar how forensic evidence was lacking because of the wiped fingerprints. Was this person skilled enough to deliberately cover their tracks, or could this have been an impulsive act that got out of hand?
I’m curious if anyone has come across other cases from the 80s with similar details or anomalies. This could be the key to linking her disappearance to something larger that hadn’t been considered before. Thoughts?
