Has anyone else ever heard about the peculiar circumstances surrounding the disappearance of James Lee Proctor? I was just reading up on cold cases, and this one grabbed my attention, particularly because of the details about his identification and personal items left behind. ?️
I find it odd that he left all his crucial stuff like his ID, badge, and credit cards at the house. If someone plans to vanish intentionally, isn't it unusual to leave items that could be used for survival after leaving? Not to mention, his plane being nowhere to be found after the rescue ops. Makes me wonder if maybe there was more to it—like, was there another location where he could've stashed backup documents or cash? ?
Given his background as a former officer, you'd think he'd be quite methodical about an intentional disappearance (if that's indeed what it was). Could he have known what would help someone remain untraceable? Or maybe something completely unexpected happened during the flight. The possibilities are endless, and it just keeps getting more puzzling. Anyone got thoughts or more info on a case like this where personal items were strangely left behind?
