Has anyone else been following the Elizabeth Andes case and thought about the role that the media might play in both solving and complicating these kinds of mysteries? It's fascinating how a podcast like *Accused* can breathe new life into a cold case, but at the same time, I wonder if it also leads to more armchair detective work than actual progress. I'm torn because raising awareness is crucial, yet it sometimes feels like it diverts attention away from Elizabeth as a person—a young woman on the brink of a new chapter in her life, hoping to start a promising career in Cincinnati. It makes me so sad to think of her life cut short and her family left without closure. What are your thoughts? Does media attention help or hinder in cases like these?
