I find it really puzzling that Jerri Denise Cox’s family reported her missing almost a month after she was last seen. I mean, I get that back in '98 communication wasn’t like today, but does anyone else think that's kind of a long time? I wonder if there was any specific reason for the delay. Could it backfire on the investigation, assuming crucial evidence went cold during that period? Anyone know more about typical reporting times in cases from the late '90s? Also, those tattoos sound pretty unique. Has there been any talk about someone seeing them somewhere else, even just rumors?

Has anyone else noticed how Jerri's distinctive tattoos haven't led to any breakthroughs? I mean, tattoos like a lightning bolt and a unicorn are pretty unique, right? They could potentially jog someone's memory if they’ve seen her or heard anything. It surprises me there's been no reports of sightings despite these features. Maybe someone who worked in a tattoo shop back then remembers who did them, or maybe a friend or acquaintance who knows a story behind those particular tattoos could provide some useful context. It feels like the kind of detail that could be really helpful in tracking down leads. Anyone else have thoughts on how this might be more noticeable or memorable to someone?

I've been following Jerri Denise Cox's case for a while now, and something that's always stood out to me are the tattoos she had. I mean, a lightning bolt and a unicorn are pretty distinctive, especially in such a small town like Orange, Texas. Has anyone ever considered checking tattoo databases or shops in the area for any records that might connect back to her? I know it's a long shot, but if she wanted them covered up or changed for some reason, maybe there's a trail that wasn't looked into enough. Just thinking out loud here, but any idea helps, right?
